The Somfy Sonesse 30 WireFree (ST30UWF) RTS shade motor features a long life built-in lithium-ion battery and is perfect for istallations where wiring a power source is not possible. The built-in lithium battery is expected to provide approximately 500 cycles of operation (depends on shade size) before needing a charge. That means you'll only need to plug in the optional external battery charger once a year or so.

The ST30WF RTS motor is controlled by wireless controls which include Handheld Remotes, Wall Switches, Timers and Sensors.

Notes for LT30 to R28 Replacement:
List of Available Crowns & Drives for R28 Motor
When replacing an LT30 motor with the new R28 motor, a new Crown will be needed. Click the "Crown" list below to locate your tube profile and size. You might have to remove the old LT30 motor from the shade and measure the inside diameter of the tube to determine correct size and type of Crown. The rubber Drive wheel can be transferred from the old LT30 motor to the new R28 motor shaft using the same screw. < Rollease Tube Profile and Sizes >
Additional Note: A new motor Adapter Plate (see below) may also be needed to attach the R28 motor end to the Shade Mounting Bracket for Rollease Skyline Bracket Systems. If your Rollease Brackets = R-Series then no Adapter Plate needed if Skyline Series then New Adapter Plate needed. If your system is LouvoLite and the plate was fastened to the LT30 motor with two screws then it will transfer to R28 motor if not then order a new LouvoLite Adapter Plate & Drive below.
