Somfy R28 Wireless (RTS) Radio Frequency Roll-Up Motor (New 3-15-22)
Note: If using this R28 RTS Motor to replace the
discontinued LT30 RTS Motor, you will need
to order a new "Crown". The existing rubber
"Drive" wheel can be transferred from the
LT30 to the new R28 motor. See Below for
more details.
- 12 Volt DC Operation @ 0.8Amp, 28 RPM Adjustable from 10-28 RPM
- LED Low battery indicator on motor head
- Programming button located on motor head
- Soft Start and Stop
- WireFree - no wiring needed using battery tube for power. Attached power cable is 11.50" long.
- Motor can be powered with a Somfy Battery Tube, Lithium Ion Rechargeable Wand, 12VDC 1.5Amp Plug-In Transformer, In Wall Transformer, Solar Battery Kit or Custom Power Panel

Notes for LT30 to R28 Replacement:
List of Available Crowns & Drives for R28 Motor
When replacing an LT30 motor with the new R28 motor, a new Crown will be needed. Click the "Crown" list below to locate your tube profile and size. You might have to remove the old LT30 motor from the shade and measure the inside diameter of the tube to determine correct size and type of Crown. The rubber Drive wheel can be transferred from the old LT30 motor to the new R28 motor shaft using the same screw. < Rollease Tube Profile and Sizes >
Additional Note: A new motor Adapter Plate (see below) may also be needed to attach the R28 motor end to the Shade Mounting Bracket for Rollease Skyline Bracket Systems. If your Rollease Brackets = R-Series then no Adapter Plate needed if Skyline Series then New Adapter Plate needed. If your system is LouvoLite and the plate was fastened to the LT30 motor with two screws then it will transfer to R28 motor if not then order a new LouvoLite Adapter Plate & Drive below.
