Hunter Douglas Platinum Technology 2.1® / PowerView® Daisy Chain Cable Kit

Daisy Chain refers to the method of powering multiple shades from a single power supply. The PowerRise 2.1® and PowerView® systems offer a daisy chain cable that can be used to power up to 3 standard size shades. Fits both Platinum Technology 2.0, 2.1 PowerRise® and PowerView® 18 Volt DC systems.
Daisy Chain Cable Kit consists of:
- 1 "Y" Wye Connector PCN2989875000
- Optional Cables available in 15 Inch, 4Ft, 10Ft and 20Ft lengths (Selected below). Note: Price of Kit will vary based on length of cable selected.
- Hunter Douglas Part# Wye Connector=PCN 2989875000, 15" Cable=1026660, 4Ft Cable=1026661, 10Ft Cable=1026662, 20Ft Cable=1026663 and replace the older part numbers and are interchangeable with the older style cables.
Daisy Chain Connections
The power cable coming from the 18V DC power supply is connected to the "in" side of the Y" adapter while the power cable from the first and second shade is plugged directly into one the the "out" connections on the "Y" Adapter. To power a third shade a second "Y" Adapter and cable will have to be used.
Each shade can still be operated individually. Final connections are made after the window coverings have been installed. Cables should then be secured and hidden behind the shade headrails.
The maximum total cable length for a daisy chain system cannot exceed 50'. The total cable length is the sum of the distance from the outlet where the power supply is plugged into plus the distance of cable connecting the other shades.
Daisy Chain Requirements
- (1) 18V DC power Supply is required
- (1) Daisy Chain Cable Kit for every 2 shades
- A maximum of 3 standard size shades can be daisy chained together
- Dimension of shade fabric not to exceed a combined total area of 100 sq. ft.
- Daisy Chain Cables available in 15", 4Ft, 15Ft and 20Ft lengths
- Maximum distance from power supply to final shade connection cannot exceed 50 FT.
